Only recently, a friend was visiting and told me about her recent experience searching for a kitchen mixer on the web.
The kitchen is the heart of every home, for the most part. It evokes memories of your family history.
“It was so confusing,” she told me. “The more I looked, the more confused I became. They all promise the best results and go into all sorts of technical details that make my head swim. And the prices vary so much. I just couldn’t make up my mind. That’s why I wanted to ask you what you thought.”
I gladly helped her consider her needs, her budget and — another important consideration — the amount of available space on her kitchen counters.
A few days later, she gave me a hug and thanked me for helping her decide on the right mixer for her, and then she said, “You know, with your insight and experience, you should have your own website where other people could wade through all the hype and advertising and find out exactly what they need and can find at the right price.”
That sort of hit me where I have a soft spot. I love to test and evaluate new appliances and the more I thought about it, with my know-how and experience as well as my own curiosity, maybe I should do exactly what she had suggested.
I got busy and began the task (confusing in itself) of setting up a website where I could test and evaluate products and offer an unbiased review for consumers online. Now all you have to do is visit this site to research whatever tool or appliance you may be interested in.
Today’s variety of ranges, refrigerators and other large kitchen appliances is greater than ever before. How can you decide which is best for your purposes? And when it comes to smaller appliances, the choices become even more difficult because, being smaller and less expensive, there are many more on today’s market and many are really not worth bringing into your home. Pots and pans offer a confusing choice as well. It is wise to choose carefully because you want those eggs to slip easily out of the pan without sticking.
And small tools may be most confusing of all. The range of knives is so great that it takes the eye of an expert to choose the proper tool. A much more expensive knife may not always be the best choice, while the very cheap end is almost always a poor choice. Not every knife is for every person.
That’s why I’m offering this website: to help you through the maze of kitchenware and find the right equipment to make your kitchen work easier and more pleasant.
I hope you’ll enjoy and learn from my experience and ongoing work, and you may contact me at any time with questions or comments.
